its more of a fear of losing something. if you never have anything there’s nothing to lose. but what people don’t get is that coasting through life on the back of your insecurities doesn’t get you very far emotionally. and when you blanket yourself in fears it makes it hard to get out of bed. life isn’t as hard as some people make it, but some people are so afraid of the past they forget that there is a future.
